Trevor Powers returned to his Youth Lagoon moniker after a long hiatus, crafting a record that feels like a dusty, intimate dispatch from his home state of Idaho. These songs trade the hazy synth-pop of his early work for a raw, piano-driven vulnerability that stares directly into the heart of the American West.

Fat Possum Records provides the perfect home for this experimental, lo-fi collection that prioritizes emotional grit over polished production. The result is a haunting, skeletal soundscape that feels both deeply personal and strangely universal.
