Strings and piano take center stage here, moving away from the heavy breakbeats that defined the group's earlier work. It feels like a late-night conversation, intimate and fragile, centered around the raw, haunting vocals of Patrick Watson.

Released on Ninja Tune, the record captures a shift toward a more cinematic, folk-influenced sound that defined the mid-2000s downtempo scene. The production is incredibly spacious, letting every note breathe in a way that feels both timeless and deeply melancholic.
