Album story

Maynard James Keenan’s collective invited a powerhouse lineup of friends and collaborators to completely dismantle and rebuild the tracks from their 2020 record. The result is a fascinating mirror image of the original, trading the familiar synth-heavy grooves for fresh, often darker textures crafted by heavyweights like Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

These reimagined versions lean into a more experimental, industrial-leaning aesthetic that feels right at home on the Puscifer Entertainment label. It serves as a masterclass in collaborative remixing, proving that even the most polished songs can find entirely new life when passed through the hands of such a diverse group of talented peers.
