The Traveller

Allan Taylor crafts a deeply personal travelogue that feels like a quiet conversation between old friends. His songwriting captures the transient nature of life on the road with a sincerity that resonates long after the needle lifts.

Released on the independent Rubber Records label in 1978, this record embodies the intimate, stripped-back aesthetic of the UK folk scene. The production highlights the warmth of his acoustic arrangements, offering a timeless listening experience that remains a hidden gem for fans of classic storytelling.
