Hovas Vittne

Created as a private gift for their manager Stig Anderson's 50th birthday, this 1981 release stands as one of the rarest items in the entire Swedish pop canon. With only a limited number of copies originally pressed—primarily on striking red vinyl—the record was never intended for public sale, making it a legendary 'holy grail' for serious collectors. The title track serves as a playful tribute to Anderson’s birthplace, while the B-side features a cover of his own composition, 'Tivedshambo.' Because of its extremely limited distribution to friends and colleagues of the band, the disparity between those who own it and those who seek it remains one of the highest in the secondary market. It captures a moment of personal celebration during the height of the group's global fame, offering a rare glimpse into their private professional circle.
