10,000 Hz Legend

Electronic music took a sharp, jagged turn when this record arrived, trading the smooth lounge vibes of the nineties for something far more alien and textured. It feels like a late-night transmission from a space station, blending robotic vocoders with lush, organic instrumentation that refuses to sit still.

Recording in Los Angeles pushed the duo toward a denser, more experimental sound that captures the restless energy of the early 2000s. The production is layered with analog synths and glitchy studio wizardry, creating a surreal atmosphere that remains one of the most ambitious departures in their catalog.
