Londinium

Dark, cinematic textures define this debut, blending haunting strings with a gritty, urban atmosphere. It remains a standout example of how trip-hop could feel both deeply personal and grandly theatrical.

Released in 1996, the record captures the moody, late-night pulse of the London electronic scene. The production leans heavily into melancholic arrangements and rhythmic experimentation, perfectly reflecting the experimental spirit of the mid-nineties.
