Breaking away from traditional hip-hop structures, this 2019 project explores the complexities of a crumbling love triangle through a blend of neo-soul, funk, and experimental pop. The record relies heavily on pitch-shifted vocals and distorted synthesizers to convey raw emotional vulnerability, marking a definitive evolution in the artist's creative trajectory. It stands as a pivotal moment in modern music where genre boundaries are intentionally blurred to create a cohesive, cinematic narrative. The sonic landscape is defined by its DIY aesthetic and meticulous production, featuring contributions from a wide array of collaborators that help build a continuous emotional arc from the aggressive energy of 'New Magic Wand' to the soulful longing of 'Earfquake.'
