Hard Candy

Sun-drenched melodies and effortless grooves define this cult classic, which has become a cornerstone of the yacht rock revival. It features the original version of "Get It Up For Love," showcasing a masterclass in songwriting that balances breezy pop sensibilities with genuine soul.

Recorded during the mid-seventies peak of the Los Angeles studio scene, the production leans heavily on crisp, polished arrangements and top-tier session musicians. The result is a quintessential AOR record that perfectly captures the laid-back, sophisticated aesthetic of the California sound.
