Northless / Light·Bearer

Heavy music fans often overlook this release, but it packs a visceral punch that blends crushing doom with the frantic energy of hardcore. The tracks move from sprawling, atmospheric soundscapes into sudden bursts of aggression that keep you on your toes throughout the entire runtime.

Recorded during a time when the lines between post-rock and extreme metal were blurring, this split captures a raw, experimental spirit. It feels like a snapshot of a scene pushing boundaries, favoring dense, layered production that emphasizes the weight of every distorted chord.
