Nice Easy Money (Intruders In The House)

Richard Hewson’s project shifted gears here, moving away from the pure disco hits of the early eighties into a more polished, synth-heavy pop landscape. It captures a specific moment where the band leaned into sophisticated production techniques while maintaining that signature, breezy British charm.

Released on the Dutch label CNR, this record reflects the late eighties European appetite for slick, studio-perfect arrangements. You can hear the transition toward a cleaner digital sound, blending electronic textures with the smooth, melodic sensibilities that defined the era's sophisticated dance-pop scene.
