Fire Of Love

Jeffrey Lee Pierce channeled the raw, swampy energy of Delta blues through the jagged lens of early 80s Los Angeles punk. It remains a singular document of desperate, feverish songwriting that feels just as dangerous today as it did upon release.

Recorded on a shoestring budget, the production captures a volatile atmosphere where slide guitars collide with frantic, primitive rhythms. This record stands as a definitive cornerstone of the psychobilly movement, blending dark Americana with an unhinged, nocturnal intensity.
