Sophisticated soul reaches its absolute peak on this record, balancing cool detachment with deep, burning emotion. It features the iconic hit "The Sweetest Taboo," which solidified the group's reputation for crafting timeless, late-night atmosphere.

Released in 1985, the production captures the sleek, polished aesthetic of mid-eighties pop while maintaining a grounded, organic warmth. The arrangements lean heavily into jazz-inflected funk, creating a signature sound that feels just as intimate in a crowded club as it does at home.
