Album story
This compilation captures the innovative spirit of Creed Taylor's legendary label during its formative years. It features a curated selection of tracks that bridge the gap between sophisticated jazz arrangements and the rhythmic pulse of early seventies soul.
Listeners will discover a blend of smooth bossa nova textures and gritty jazz-funk grooves. The collection serves as an essential introduction to the high-fidelity production standards that defined the CTI sound throughout the decade.
