The More Things Change...

Ten Ton Hammer serves as the definitive anthem of this record, showcasing a shift toward a more deliberate, rhythmic stomp that defined the band's evolution. It captures a raw, confrontational energy that feels just as heavy today as it did upon its initial release.

Ross Robinson returned to produce this sophomore effort, leaning into the gritty, abrasive textures that became a hallmark of the mid-nineties metal scene. The result is a dense, claustrophobic soundscape that perfectly bridges the gap between thrash speed and the burgeoning groove metal movement.
