Onuka

Traditional Ukrainian folk instruments like the bandura and sopilka find a second life here, woven seamlessly into modern electronic textures. It is a striking balance of ancient heritage and forward-thinking production that feels both deeply rooted and entirely contemporary.

Deep house beats and downtempo rhythms define the sonic landscape, reflecting the vibrant indie-pop scene emerging from Kyiv during this period. Released on the Aby Sho Mzk label, the record captures a unique moment where local cultural identity met global electronic trends.
