Warsaw

These recordings represent the raw, unpolished genesis of a band that would soon redefine the boundaries of rock music. You can hear the transition from the aggressive, jagged energy of early punk into the haunting, atmospheric soundscapes that defined their later legacy.

Recorded during a period of intense creative flux, these tracks capture the stark, claustrophobic tension of late 1970s Manchester. The production remains stripped-back and urgent, highlighting the band's evolution from a scrappy club act into architects of the post-punk movement.
