Big Fun

Kevin Saunderson and Paris Grey turned Detroit techno into a global pop phenomenon with this record. It balanced gritty underground machinery with soulful, radio-ready hooks that defined the sound of the late eighties.

Synthesizers pulse with a distinct, metallic warmth that captures the transition from warehouse raves to mainstream dance floors. The production remains a masterclass in blending electronic minimalism with the expressive power of gospel-inflected vocals.
