Album story
Classic rock meets the turn of the millennium on this unique collection, which pairs the band's essential psychedelic hits with a series of electronic remixes of Riders on the Storm. It is a strange, fascinating time capsule that bridges the gap between the dark, poetic atmosphere of the sixties and the dance-floor experimentation of the year 2000.
Elektra Records curated this limited edition release to showcase the enduring, malleable nature of these legendary tracks. The original recordings retain their haunting, blues-drenched grit, while the bonus mixes offer a jarring but intriguing look at how these iconic sounds were reimagined for a new generation of listeners.
