Album story
Hoagy Carmichael’s classic songs are completely reimagined through a lens of psychedelic jazz-funk and experimental soul. This record transforms familiar standards into strange, rhythmic, and highly textured soundscapes.
Studio experimentation drives the unique feel of this project, utilizing unconventional arrangements and deep, groovy instrumentation. It is a cult classic that bridges the gap between mid-century songwriting and the adventurous spirit of 70s fusion.
