Tha Doggfather

This record arrived during a massive transition period for West Coast hip hop following the departure of Dr. Dre from Death Row. It maintains the signature G-funk sound while shifting toward a slightly more introspective lyrical tone.

Production remains polished and heavy on the synthesizers, serving as a snapshot of a specific moment in rap history. It captures the tension and the legacy of the era perfectly.
