Lacrime E Pioggia = Rain And Tears / Betty Blu

Italian pop culture in the late sixties had a unique way of reimagining international hits, and this 7-inch is a perfect example of that creative translation. It takes the melancholic weight of Aphrodite's Child and reframes it through a distinctly Mediterranean lens.

Released on the Tipico label in 1968, the record captures the lush, dramatic orchestration common in the Italian rock scene of the era. The production leans into a cinematic, moody atmosphere that feels like a snapshot of a fading summer on the coast.
