Foiled

Raw vulnerability defines this record, particularly through the hit single "Hate Me," which offers an unflinching look at the frontman's personal struggles with addiction and mental health. The songwriting acts as a cathartic diary, pulling listeners into a world of intense emotional highs and lows.

Released in 2006, the production leans into the polished yet moody alternative rock sound that dominated the mid-2000s radio landscape. It balances heavy, driving guitar riffs with sweeping, cinematic arrangements that helped the band find a massive audience during a pivotal era for post-grunge music.
