Cracker Island feat.Thundercat

Damon Albarn and his virtual crew lean into a sun-drenched, psychedelic pop sound that feels like a fever dream set in a cult-like California paradise. The record leans heavily on high-profile collaborations, turning the project into a vibrant, star-studded party that feels both polished and intentionally detached.

Released on Parlophone, the production captures a sleek electronic aesthetic that defines the modern Gorillaz era. It trades the gritty lo-fi textures of their early work for crisp, neon-soaked synths that perfectly match the surreal, globalized pop landscape of 2023.
