Cerebral Hemispheres

Larry Heard returned to his legendary Mr Fingers moniker with this sprawling, eighteen-track double LP that feels like a deep-dive into the soul of house music. It manages to balance his signature lush, emotive synth-work with a sense of wanderlust, moving through moods that range from late-night introspective jams to sun-drenched, rhythmic explorations.

Released on his own Alleviated Records, the record carries the weight of decades of production mastery while sounding remarkably fresh and unhurried. The production is pristine yet warm, showcasing a master of the craft who is clearly more interested in building immersive sonic worlds than chasing fleeting trends.
