Album story
The band masterfully blended funk, soul, and Latin rhythms to create a sound that defined the mid-seventies radio landscape. Their ability to craft long, jam-heavy tracks that still felt like pop hits is on full display here.
Warm analog production captures the organic interplay between the percussion, harmonica, and bass lines. It reflects a time when bands prioritized live-room chemistry and extended instrumental passages over short, punchy hooks.
