Album story
Swedish synth-pop history starts right here with this self-titled 1982 debut. It captures a band finding their footing, blending icy, minimalist electronics with a distinct Scandinavian pop sensibility that would define their sound for years to come.
The production carries that quintessential early eighties charm, balancing analog synthesizers with catchy, melodic hooks. You can hear the influence of the burgeoning European new wave scene as they experiment with textures that feel both futuristic and deeply human.
