Infinite

Before the global superstardom and the Slim Shady persona, this debut was a raw, hungry attempt to find a voice within the Detroit underground. It serves as a fascinating time capsule of a young lyricist still refining his technical flow and storytelling abilities long before he became a household name.

Production here leans heavily into the classic mid-90s boom bap aesthetic, defined by crisp drum breaks and soulful loops typical of the era's regional sound. You can hear the clear influence of East Coast legends, reflecting a local scene that was deeply committed to lyrical precision and traditional hip-hop foundations.
