Album story
Britpop reached its sunny, melodic peak with this record, anchored by the massive hit "Good Enough." It manages to balance breezy, singalong choruses with a surprising amount of emotional depth and clever instrumentation.
Production from Hugh Jones gives the tracks a polished, expansive feel that defined the mid-90s indie scene. The songs capture the optimism of the era while maintaining the jangly, guitar-driven energy that made the band a staple of the time.
