EP One

Emerging from the vibrant intersection of live funk and the late-90s deep house scene, this release captures a pivotal moment when organic instrumentation began to dominate the underground dance floors of the era. Released on Kevin Yost’s influential i! Records, the record showcases a sophisticated blend of acid jazz sensibilities and steady 4/4 rhythms, a hallmark of the label's reputation for high-fidelity, jazz-inflected house music. The inclusion of D'Pac's remix of 'Ocean' highlights the collaborative spirit of the i! roster, stripping back the original's atmospheric textures into a more hypnotic, deep-groove experience that remains a staple for collectors of the Pennsylvania sound.
